Turns out it was mostly a translation/editing problem by the Korean Times. According to
Jeeho Yoo via Paul Hoynes of the Plain Dealer, Choo was just envious of the playoff teams but said he wants to stay with a club for a long time, preferably Cleveland. That is good news for the Tribe.
